4.9 billion investment, BRIDGESTONE expands production capacity of Thailand factory

BRIDGESTONE said the expansion of its NCR Co. Ltd subsidiary in Thailand will boost global capacity by 30% from the first quarter of 2026.

The first phase of the 4.9 billion yen investment project is scheduled to start production in mid-2025.

BRIDGESTONE said the move would "strengthen the profit structure of its non-tire "diversified product" business.

The Rayong-based BRIDGESTONE  NCR facility currently employs 387 people in the manufacture and sales of hydraulic hoses, automotive hoses and conveyor belts. Bridgestone hydraulic hose products are widely used in construction, mining and other industrial applications.
