The reason for the price increase is the recent sharp rise in the price of raw materials, combined with the impact of the epidemic, which led to a surge in freight, making the cost of black carbon increase.

The company said it decided to raise the price of rubber black to ensure stable supply and continuous operation.

China Rubber has learned that since the end of July, domestic coal tar prices have continued to rise, once hitting a record high, causing greater cost pressure on carbon black enterprises.

Other black carbon companies besides Cabot are also raising prices.

In addition to black carbon prices soared, the price of natural rubber in the past two days is also rebounding.
