On April 30, the Department of Internal Market Protection of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Announcement No. 2021/266/AD18R1 in the official gazette, disclosing the final ruling of the first anti-dumping sunset review of imported truck tires originating in China, and it is recommended to maintain 2015 The anti-dumping duties determined by Resolution No. 154 of 1991 are valid for 5 years.

The ruling held that if the anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the case are cancelled, the dumping of the products involved and the damage caused by the dumping to the Eurasian Economic Union industry will continue or occur again.

The tax numbers of the Eurasian Economic Union of the products involved are 4011201000 and 4011209000.

Stakeholders should submit their comments on this case before May 14, 2021 (inclusive).

According to China Rubber.com, on September 1, 2014, the Eurasian Economic Commission initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imported truck tires originating in China.

On December 18, 2015, in accordance with Resolution No. 154 of November 17, 2015, the Eurasian Economic Commission began to impose a five-year anti-dumping duty on the products involved in the case in China, with the anti-dumping duty rate ranging from 14.79% to 35.35%, valid until December 2020 On the 17th.

On August 19, 2020, the Eurasian Economic Commission launched the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation against China Truck Tire.

On November 17, 2020, in accordance with the Eurasian Economic Commission Resolution No. 143 of November 13, 2020, the Eurasian Economic Union extended the validity period of China’s truck tire anti-dumping duties until August 18, 2021.
